25-year-old female doctor talks about a turning point in her life …
I would say that the Smart and Light experience, for me, was a turning point in my life. I reached a degree of well-being and fulfillment that I had never felt before. I made the decision to do it, to change my life, and take charge, once and for all. The support and accompaniment, which I received through the coaching sessions, and the Road Book, frankly made my life easier. I felt guided, and especially supported. The diet of the program has not been difficult. Certainly, the first week was the hardest, because it involved a lot of changes, but then, and as the weeks went by, everything became fluid and easy going an incredible help. Being able to have good healthy and diversified dishes, allowed me not to break my head to look for menu ideas. This has made the path to change very clear and obvious. In fact, in this program, we do not know the feeling of hunger, and that is what encourages you to stick to the road. You do not feel particularly deprived of anything, the choice is great. It is also a relearning towards a correct, healthy and balanced diet. And beyond the nutritional aspect, the personal development, the exercises to regain self-confidence and to be able to really love me frankly allowed me to flourish. My view of myself has changed, I am more assertive, which allows me to stay the course. Food is no longer a refuge or a substitute. Finally the result was excellent, I am very happy. I lost the weight I had to lose, without feeling the slightest frustration, the feeling of being deprived of something, and not being completely « desocialized ». I plan to keep a healthy diet, and if I was asked to go back to where I was before, it would certainly be out of the question. After all, one eats to do good to one’s body, not to « bombard » it with fat and sugar, which he certainly does not need. There, I would say, that I reached such a degree of well-being and harmony with my body and my person that, if I were confronted with any obstacle, it would seem easily surmountable. I assure you, this is not the kind of speech I was holding two months ago.”
