Bolognese Sauce

Bolognese Sauce (2 people)

* To eat as a dish or to serve with steamed tagliatelle vegetables (see recipe)


1 kilo of fresh tomatoes 500 g of fat-free minced beef 1 large onion 2 cloves of garlic 1 beef stock cube 2 tablespoons of Xylitol 1 bunch of fresh basil salt and pepper

Preparation (20 minutes)

  1. In a saucepan, melt 1 cube of beef broth in 12 tablespoons water, until boiling.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes then add the garlic also finely chopped and sauté for two minutes, then the meat, and then the peeled tomatoes (which you have to immerse for two minutes in boiling water to remove the skin) and cut into 8, salt and pepper, the bouquet of basil washed and chiselled, Xylitol,
  3. Cover and cook over very low heat, adding more water if necessary, for 10 to 15 minutes.
